ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY


We are looking for an Omnichannel Operations Associate to join the MOTIRA team. This role will report to the Omnichannel Operations Manager and will be based out of the NYC HQ offices. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reporting to the Omnichannel Operations Manager, he/she will assist with optimizing and enforcing operational best practices for Motira’s DTC (Direct to Consumer), i.e. e-commerce and retail stores business.

• Will be responsible for compiling existing workflows and operational guidelines for Motira’s retail locations and omnichannel in general, as well as communicating any updates to necessary stakeholders.

• Daily monitoring of motiranyc.com orders in all company systems, ensuring all fulfillment locations are meeting SLA (service level agreement).

• Proactively collaborates with the retail back of house staff, 3PL (Bergen Logistics) support, and customer service team to streamline order life cycle, facilitating order updates as required.

• Maintains accurate inventory for the DTC stock pool, assisting retail back of house staff on any discrepancies.

• Supervises retail inventory management to ensure integrity in the company's ERP (RLM).

• Field backend order requests from Customer Service, Retail, and Personal Shopping Teams.

• Investigate shipping issues with appropriate partners.

• Coordinate with customer service and retail teams to provide important order updates such as delays and no stocks for all DTC orders.

Interpersonal Skills:

•The ideal candidate is very organized and is comfortable working collaboratively with customer facing teams.

• Excellent communication, multi-tasking, organizational and follow-up skills.

• Excellent spirit of collaboration with other departments.

• Must have a can-do attitude and problem-solving skills.

 

Education/Experience:

• The ideal candidate has at least 2+ years of experience in either store operations/omnichannel operations/customer service/logistics.

• The ideal candidate has experience in working for a Fashion/Luxury company in any capacity.

• Proficiency in working with suboptimal data and different systems.

• Proficiency with analytical tasks and reporting.

• Experience with ERP, RLM, and Shopify are not required but represent a plus.

WE OFFER

The salary range is $60,000-70,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon the candidates' relevant skills and experience. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Production, Footwear to join the MOTIRA team. This role will report to the Head of Non-Apparel and will be based in Italy (Florence preferred). The position will support the full production lifecycle for MOTIRA’s footwear category, ensuring timely delivery, outstanding quality, and operational excellence. Based in Italy, this role will manage vendor relationships, assist with production calendar oversight, and drive execution from development handover through final delivery for the footwear category. The ideal candidate is highly experienced in luxury footwear production, well connected with Italian factories and suppliers, and skilled at balancing creative vision with operational precision.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the end-to-end production process, in partnership with our NY team and Italian development team, from development handover to bulk delivery

• Manage vendor relationships across Italian factories and suppliers, ensuring MOTIRA quality standards and on-time delivery

• Negotiate costs, lead times, and capacities with factories and vendors while maintaining quality and brand integrity

• Lead industrialization fittings with technicians to ensure fit consistency across all footwear styles in the collection

• Build fit and grading standards for MOTIRA collection

  • Build raw material standards for MOTIRA collection
  • Standardize quality control SOPs for all raw material and finished goods vendors
  • Supervise quality control processes, including fit, construction, and finishing standards, with weekly factory visits
  • Ensure raw material procurement supports production timelines

• Troubleshoot production issues and propose proactive solutions to prevent delays or quality risks

• Maintain accurate reporting on production status, costs, and vendor performance

• Build, mentor, and manage a small production & quality control team based in Italy

• Proven track record of managing production calendar and budgets with precision

• Proficiency in PLM; RLM is a plus

• Bilingual in Italian and English required

• Weekly travel to Italian factories required
